Tips to make dessert as healthy as possible
Reduce the amount of sugar by cutting it down or replacing it with dried fruits, berries and vegetables, you can also add a sugar substitute, only for baking – it must be voluminous, otherwise it will not rise;
To increase the content of useful elements, and often make the dessert tastier, add grated vegetables (pumpkin, carrot, zucchini) to the dough, use different types of flour, and enrich jellies, puddings, yoghurts with fruits and berries;
If possible, replace ingredients with healthier analogues: skimmed milk instead of whole milk, 5% cottage cheese instead of 9% and higher, Greek yoghurt instead of sour cream, cottage cheese instead of butter;
Add spices (vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, etc.) for flavour and aroma.
